On The Road Again

I was forced to wake up early and get packing so we could head toward home. :'(

But naturally once we get in the car I went to sleep. We were headed toward Flam to see if we might take a boat ride up the smallest fjord, the Naeroyfjord. However, there was difficulty when we figured out that we would have to leave the car for the entire day (as we are traveling with Twiga after all). So, we did a little research quickly and figured out that we could catch a ferry up the fjords (both the Naeroyfjord which is the narrowest fjord and the Songerfjord which is the largest and widest fjord). So, we headed out to catch that ferry. I feel sound asleep again, but I was again awoken once we got to the ferry to go through the fjords and keep going to Sweden. The ride on the boat was really long but fun. The fjords are really amazing...but two hours of it can be a lot...

When we finally got off the ferry, we headed down the road quickly and after another long drive (most of which I spent sleeping....minus the moments when the family woke me up to see something or other), we got to Oslo. We stopped in Oslo for dinner. That was really good. Then we quickly piled back in the car and drove on further to Sweden (Gothenburg) where our hotel room was waiting for us.
